Corporate Disk Company adds new digital media department to include video/ web production and on-demand streaming delivery to their suite of services.
Corporate Disk Company, a full service DVD & CD‐ROM manufacturing facility, has just announced that they will be adding a new digital media department to their existing replication, digital printing, packaging and fulfillment services. The acquisition of Quickstream.tv, leverages both Limelight Networks powerful and expansive streaming CDN (Content Delivery Network) and the Brightcove video platform.
The explosion of rich media and digital content as well as the speed of broadband has transformed the way the world engages with information and video. “Quickstream.tv will facilitate a strategic initiative to offer more multi-media services to our clients including video and web production” said Joe Foley, VP Sales.

Our sales continue to accelerate year over year and we are on pace for 2008 to be our best ever. “

One Disc
Corporate Disk Company is the only replication facility in the United States equipped to make the new DVDPlus© OneDisc™. This is an exciting new product that offers a dual-sided disc combining the technology of a DVD and a CD into one disc. It features an audio layer similar to a CD on one side and a standard DVD layer on the other. The CD and DVD layers are bonded together to provided a multi-format hybrid technology disc, which is compatible to all CD, DC-ROM, and DVD-ROM formats.
DVD Plus© OneDisc™ allows publishers to integrate their visual and audio products into a single distribution unit, saving money in both packaging as well as shipping costs.
New Color Laser Printer
Corporate Disk has recently added the imagePRESS C7000VP a high-end color laser printer with a level of quality that rivals offset. This new press will print images up to 1200x1200 DPI resolutions, producing sharp text, smooth gradations, and crystal clear, detailed images.
By using a new developing toner and advanced calibration technology the C7000VP provides outstanding color that remains consistent throughout each job. In addition, when printing on a variety of media finishes, Gloss Optimization ensures that the gloss of the media will match the imaged area.
The imagePRESS C7000VP prints on a broad range of paper stocks in 8 ½ x 11, 11x17, 12x18, 13x19 sizes.
