Corporate Disk- "an extension of my own business..."

Potential customers of Corporate Disk Company,

My name is Jason Gibson, and I would like to share my experience with Corporate Disk Company. My company, MathTutorDVD.com, produces educational math and science tutorials on DVD for students to use as a supplement to their schoolwork. In July, 2007, I had already been in business for almost three years, and at that time I was doing doing all of my product shipping in-house. My DVD replicator was located close to my location, which was convenient to receive their shipments of product so that I could quickly pick/pack for customer orders.

Summer of 2007 reflected very good sales growth for my products. However, I had one big problem. I was so busy packing shipments, stocking inventory, etc, that I had literally no time at all to produce any new products. I knew that if I did not find a solution my business would plateau at this sales volume.

I stumbled upon Corporate Disk by accident while looking for a fulfillment house on the Web. I was thrilled to find out that they not only did the fulfillment, which I desperately needed to reclaim my time to develop new products, but they also did the DVD replication as well. In addition, they would warehouse my products for me which saves time and money immeasurably. I was hesitant at first to switch because at the time I had 6 DVD products that my old replicator manufactured for me on a regular basis. This meant that I would have to transfer 6 sets of DVD masters and 6 sets of artwork to Corporate Disk to even get started.

Let me share with you the reason I decided to take that plunge - quite simply, Corporate Disk employs the most friendly and knowledgeable people that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. From the very first day, Cindy Tonne answered every single question for me and replied promptly to every email question that I submitted. Brian Stechly down in the Corporate Disk IT department patiently answered every question I had regarding how to interface my website with their fulfillment system - and he did it with a very friendly attitude.

Fast forward to February 2008 and it does not seem like 8 months have gone by since I got started with Corporate Disk. It seems like they have been with me from the very beginning. It took me almost 3 years to release my first 6 products. Over the last 6 months, I have released 6 additional products with more on the way. Julie Magiorre receives my orders and coordinates artwork and proofs, and keeps me informed of order status during the job runs. Cindy patiently answers every question I send her with regard to new project ideas. Brian Stechly keeps the fulfillment house interfaced with my website so that orders are received and processed efficiently.

And last, but certainly not least, is Tammy McAleese, who is the fulfillment manager at Corporate Disk. Tammy and her crew keep my customer shipments going out the door every day of the week. She is always attentive to every issue I have ever discussed with her. If there is ever any problem (and there have been very very few) she takes care of it immediately.

In summary, my relationship with Corporate Disk feels less like a "supplier" to me and much more like an extension of my own business. I rest easily at night knowing that all of these good people are working behind the scenes to manufacture and warehouse my products, and ship my customer's orders out. In essence, they are keeping my customers happy. And you cannot put a price on that!

Plus you shouldn't have to deal with other companies that don't return phone calls or emails and overcharge you for cheap products.

Responsive, friendly, helpful...

I want to give a recommendation for a great facility outside of Chicago that handles replication/packaging/printing/fulfilllment. This place is the best friend of a self-distributor. I did tons of research trying to find the best prices and a place that did the most stuff under one roof, so you don't have to e.g. ship your packages to a separate "pick and pack" facility.

My contact guy there was responsive, friendly, helpful, worked out all sorts of confusing custom-package details for me.... I can't say enough good stuff about him. He shipped me all sorts of samples, figured out mailing costs--basically it was like having a free personal consultant.

They do everything from press your glass master, to replications and printing, warehouse/storage, and their fulfillment service has worked like a dream.

If you call Chuck, tell him Margot sent you! He is super nice. (He's a bad speller, but don't hold that against him.)
